Quite contrary.



On the last day of Summer the Conservatory Garden overflows with flowers.
But we’ve had our first frost,



and as Fall wears on the flowers are removed.



The evergreen hedges and the lowering Sun remain to show the season, but in a garden proper it’s considered wrong for us to view the withering remnant of what once was a gown of blooms.
