Mulberries are here, but not for long!








Red and White Mulberry are hard to distinguish. Though the Red is native, and the White Asian, they look much the same. Both produce the popular berries, actually compound clusters, which ripen from white through deepening red to purplish black.










The ground beneath the trees is splattered with the remnants, but most of the berries disappear quickly, devoured by birds, and others...
