From the Ozarks to the Lower East Side
A picture of Pickles, 135 Rivington's newest tenant.
I'm being asked to sign in to the New York Times.
Yeah, you can usually use fmhreader as name and password (the follow me here site usually keeps this working.)
Oh, I get it, it's not JUST a picture of Pickles, nice article.
people wait their entire lives for a mention in the times and that dogs here a week and he(?) is profiled. maybe that was the last story howell raines ever assigned.
A) she's a bitch, and B) there were lots of jokes about getting the facts checked when the photographer stopped by.....
i had no idea how much work everyone did on the building. great article and i love the pics.
Nice article. I've seen the progression of JimL's Rocheblave place in photos and in person, from an abandoned shell to a tight little house. But 135 must have been a massive project. And it is a wonderful building.
Truly sweet...& honored to have met some of y'all. 135 was built the year of L(R)J's birth a mere four blocks away. A better picture of Pickle's must be had ... being puppyhood passes more quickly than poopypads.
