| Very blurry picture, but I wanted to include it. Emerich and Mike flanking the original mural that became the wine label. The story was that a "famous Wacau artist" (Alex got a laugh out of that) stayed for some time in a room upstairs, and in exchange for his bill agreed to do the painting. Then some years later when the family was searching for a label, nobody could come up with an idea, and the mural was used almost by default. Or so the story goes. |
