Fun day. Our group got separated from the other groups, so we missed out on all the choreographed dance numbers. But it was fun walking through the city. Lots of people.
It's hard keeping track of such a large group. On the other hand it doesn't really matter. We all seemed to make it back.
Heading to the afterparty now. Turns out to be only a few blocks away. Dinner there, and we should be on the road around 9:00.
Thanks for the report. The organizers placed the number of protestors at 200,000. I've also seen "tens of thousands." Strangely, the National Park Service "no longer keeps counts" of the size of Mall rallies. Must have been some budget cutbacks. I'm sure they weren't deliberately directed to stop the tallies by the current Administration...
