One interesting thing was this contraption out by the trash...





Bear trap. Don't get too close.

We actually saw a young brown bear on one of our walks.
A few days after we left we heard they caught one in
this very trap. (No they don't kill them, they just drive this
thing out to somewhere remote and let it go.)
