My guilty conscience will not let me rest until I expose the extremely unamerican way I behaved today: I failed to conduct all my affairs under the highest level of security. Also, I made no efforts to observe, not to mention report, any evil doings. And as for smoking people out of their holes, I'm sad to say I'm not even sure what that means. Sorry. I'll try harder tomorrow.

I'm trying to smoke my way into a hole.
(That's a Tolkien reference, honest.)

From Alex's link above: "The Asthma and Respiratory Foundation is concerned, with executive director Jenny Shieff fearing the impact on viewers, especially children."

I can't believe this. I mean, get a life, or something. You'd think people would be aware that any sentence construction featuring any variation of the "but think of the children!" meme is complete rubbish. Either calculated to mislead, or betraying an impossibly simple minded willingness to be brainwashed.

I don't know what it is today, but I can't help thinking the world is populated by complete idiots. Maybe I shouldn't have watched the news...

I love our societies reasoning:
"But think of the children. They might take up smoking in hopes of blowing a triangular smoke ring. This could lead to drug use and a life of violent crime leaving us no choice but to bring them up on charges in adult court where we can dispose of them in a swift and just manner."

And from what I can tell, nobody enjoys a good smoke as much as a minor.
