Yeah, you might have to stretch a bit to get that. But frankly, that wouldn't be in my top tier demands. I just want to be able to reliably point to the matierial (where I'm sure I can follow the pointer and get back to the material at any point in the future.) I don't necessarily need the pointer to point to a server I control. Re-publishing is only necessary as a work around in cases where the prime rights to space shift and "to translate legally acquired content into comparable formats" is not being upheld.
