Our friend Jeff arrives from Montana today, providing us with yet another sorely needed opportunity to live it up. For his sake, of course. We're selfless like that.
Little do you realize the wretched Bubsie's trip to Gotham is nothing more than a hopeless & momentary diversion from Castle Wolfenshchnitzle. Or did he break free wednesday night ?
I lost my message before I posted it - I think ...
to rejuvenate Bubsie later in the trip:
leave him with some new urban comic books and other random reading material...
maybe some licorice too or sourpatch kids
also - could you
please give him snuffy's number : dim sum with snuff
cyberlaw paper is due tommorrow
so tonight I am writing
wish I was visiting too
I miss you guys here
I thought you were sending sarah here for the winter?
I will soon be ready
yours,
calliope
Well, after much weather related delays, bubs arrived in the garden state. We had him cab right to the restaurant where he joined the regularly scheduled programming already in progress. Rumor has it we came back here and made a noticible dent in the recent Polaner allocation, but details are still to be confirmed. As of 10:15 he was apparently still negotiating with emissaries from the dark and dreamy side, so let's just say that New York is still waiting to catch a glimpse of what all that high altitude training was about. We figured he'd already be out hunting grouse or something.
I'm going to save the sourpatch kids for a last resort.
Does the guy do anything but sleep?
BTW, we ain't got no grouse (well, can grouse a little, if provoked) but at 4:00PM yesterday, in the driving snow, there was an Orange-crowned Warbler in the Wildflower Meadow. This bird should have gone south by now, but there it was, acting as if there was nothing out of the ordinary going on. So no complaints about the snow.
