Wow. Very large crowd. Great vibe. Great day.

We're eating some oysters at the bar in grand central and warming up a bit. Not sure we accomplished anything, but it was fun trying.

I started at the Library and also ended up at Grand Central for lunch. Sorry we weren't able to hook up!

Damn. We were at the library at 11:45. It was a mad house. Sorry we missed you Tom.

It was a madhouse. I got there (the library) about 11:30, looked for you guys, and then just starting moving northeast with the throng (probably about noon). I ran into an artist friend so I had someone to trade running commentary with. Did you make it to 1st Ave and 49th?

We walked over from the library on 42nd. Got turned north at 3rd ave. Walked up to 63rd, closing 3rd ave down as we went. Finally got east at 63rd, and eventually made it to 1st as desmond tutu was talking. 1st was less crowded than you might have thought for how hard it was to get there. Retreated basically the same way.

Our unscientific accounting put the crowd around 200,000.
