I posted this some time ago, but I'll mention it again: a blog from baghdad.
Pretty cool and very articulate. Hope s/he makes it through.
Bruno pointed out the pun in the bloggers name - Salam Pax - but now I don't remember it exactly. Something about a chemical manufacturer? Bruno?
And many people are speculating that he is a fake. Maybe part of a CIA or Mossad disinfo campaign. Paul Boutin does some limited sleuthing and figures he's probably real.
Oh Salman Pak is an Iraqi weapons facility of some notoriety. Of course both "Salaam" and "Pax" translating as peace. Is he real? I guess we will find out in due course...
mainstreaming of blogs alert-
the weekly standards david brooks just mentioned this weblog on pbs newshour. he said, "theres this blogger, raed, in baghdad that ive been reading..."
seems to me the blog has stopped Friday....
He's back!
