Nokia is also introducing wearable necklace displays that you can transfer pictures to over IR. Cool idea, although I doubt this will really take off. Two models: here and here. And similarly, the Kaleidoscope. I've wondered before if such a setup could work for reading email and web surfing.

More (and better) photos of the 7600. I'm not sure I like it, but it's great to see someone trying to completely rethink the problem. The solution, I think, isn't just to tack more features onto the old style cell phone. (In fact voice is probably the least valuable feature for me - so using the phone as a starting point doesn't necessarily make sense.) And Nokia seems to be trying to start with a clean slate on this combo device design. So I'll say good job, and also keep trying.
In any case it doesn't look like this phone will ever be available in the U.S.
