Note to self: make sure you use the "one time" alarm and not the "daily" alarm when you set your cell phone to go off at 4:30 am.

Yes--an old LED plug in alarm clock that reverts to 12:00 whenever there's a power failure; a similar clock on my stove gets a few glances a day. Also, the clock on my VCR. When I have my camera with me in the city I use it as a watch.
have never needed an alarm clock even durring 9-5 job days. 20 yo tag skindiver watch with date feature (le must). i love public clocks you can see from your window. i used the jc colgate clock as a desk clock for years. two public clocks disapeared from view while living on east 10th st in the 80's due to nyu construction.
I still have the clock I learned to tell time on. It’s an ancient GE model, circular, with a red band around the face and white Arabic numerals. Other than windup alarms, it was the only clock in our house when I was a child, hanging on the kitchen wall as far back as I can remember. It still keeps perfect time. But what I actually use is my TV. I always have the time display showing in the lower left corner, and I also use the thing as an alarm; it’s better than most programming.
I have a wrist watch that is much more tolerant of water than my cell or computer. And it's easy to sneak a peak during a meeting. For the 40+ crowd, there's something to be said for a time piece that can be read slightly out of focus.
I use a clock radio to get up in the morning. I spend an hour sleeping to news and chitchat every day, internalising all the current events and melding them with my dreamlife, before I suddenly realise that I'm likely nearly late as usual and jump out of bed to start careening around and skipping trivial stuff like food and hygene in favour of email before I go to work. then I just use the clock on whatever computer I'm using until its bedtime again.
Mid-70's sony digital alarm clock, cheap quartz alarm clock. Classic -looking (ugly retro) wall clock-quartz guts. Sony pocket size alarm clock with cd-player and speakers.
one wall clock christmas - gift from sister (in kitchen), two bose radios (in bedrooms), one watch (out of my reach under bed).
I have a talking watch. It announces the time on the hour and if you push a button it will say the time.
I only have the cell phone, the computer, and my little pocket camera keeping time. Though there is within reach one of those plastic wind-up minute timers from the Lux company, but it doesn't belong to me.
I do wear a watch but prefer to refer to my mobile phone. I was amazed to find that it has a "snooze button" option on the alarm - which is definitely key.
i havent had a watch since i traded mine for a jumpstart in the spring of '86.
