Treocentral has collected over $3500 from it's readers to offer as a reward to the first person who writes a driver to make a bluetooth SD card work on the Treo 600.
This is interesting. I can't imagine that it is possible, or someone would have done it already. But at the same time, I can't imagine how it could be impossible. Truly a mystery. But if anything can get to the bottom of it, it's cash money.
Bluetooth-based Treos could be coming this fall: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/06/25/palmone_treo_new/
Cool. Thanks. I hadn't seen that yet. Looks amazing. Hopefully the camera will be +1 megapixel. And hopefully it will work on the new high speed Sprint network.
That will be a hard phone to beat. I'm sold.
Here are 11 pictures of the new Danger Hiptop, which should be out first. I loved my first generation, but even so, the closed nature of the platform is what lost me. Well, that and the Treo 600 being so good. The Danger people seem cool, why don't they open it up? Why would I buy a mobile computer that doesn't let me load 3rd party software onto it? That's crazy.
