very funny post. the incessant noise and diversion at the last nba game i attended ruined the experience for me so much so that i never wanted to go again.
oh yeah. i caught a t-shirt from one of those cannons at a mets game about 5 years ago. it was an awkward moment because everyone in the surrounding sections then fixed their gaze on me until i unfurled the treasure and foisted it high for all to see. huzzahs were heard throughout the kingdom. turned out to be XL and XUgly and ever since i wish i had tossed it "mean joe green style" to the fat kid across the aisle who was eyeing it with half-restrained reverence.
