Let me applaud my first guest for her constraint and secondly agree with Mark that the Gospel tent was happening. I got high on the Melody Clouds. Springsteen was ok. Trombone Shorty, first on stage with brother, James Andrews, and later with his own band in the Jazz tent, was fun, even with iffy sound quality. Saturday night in the French Quarter at the former Shim-sham club, with Olu Dara, with absolutely great sound and great band, but somewhat suspect lyric choices, was also pretty high. The Nykers and that one guy from CA were great houseguests, it was indeed great fun.
