Also, noted somewhere in the media that N.O. folks are wearing memorial t-shirts for dead friends.

I can't seem to find that Easter story, Bill, but I know I have ranted about the "I need new Nikes" phenomenon several times, so maybe I'll "search" the document for nike references. Yeah, the memorial t-shirts are pretty common garb around here, Kizzy and BaBa were wearing some yesterday. There was one for Mama D as well. On the back of Mama D's shirt individuals had the t-shirt maker personalize them with the wearer's favorite Mama D-ism,--"you long headed cocksucker, kiss my ass, bitch, ya bulldagging bitch," etc. And the DC shootings, hard to figure what makes the news these days, but when the mom's march on Washington soon you'll hear all the numbers, 700,000 american gun related deaths in the last twenty years, which slightly execeeds the number of americans deaths in wars over the last 225 years. If we don't occasionally make an effort to accentuate the positive (would you care to dance?), the world is a pretty bleak place. Ok, very bleak.
