What's the reaction on Dumaine to the events of the past few weeks? Do they have enough life and death drama in their faces that they are less affected than the suburbanites are?
I won't speak at length for the Dumaine/Dorgenois boys because their response was the give me a Glock and I'll take care of it response that is not too popular at this site. Mandy and I were both instructing the youths on 911/12 that the corner store run by a multinational group of Arab Muslims was not to be seen as an enemy stronghold. On Rocheblave at Mr. Bunn's corner store his son sold me a 24 ounce budweiser for a buck fifty while I watched a piece of the lastest terror on TV and to make conversation with me the occasional customer he said, "its a shame about all those Americans dying." His nationality, black. I looked at him briefly to guess irony but he wasn't a cover to be read.
