phew |
This reminds me of some graffiti I saw spraypainted on the school where I voted today. It was a very nice stencil style portrait of Stephen Harper with the american stars and stripes as a backdrop. The image was spray painted in several places on the outside wall of the school as you walked up to the door to enter the polling station. This was definately too clever for the liberal candidate to have pulled off...or did I see Mario Silva running around with a spraycan last night?
Yay. and boo and yay. Glad that Harper did not win, sad that Olivia Chow did not win. Glad that Layton won his seat.
Pretty clever darlin! A good phew indeed.
I can't figure out which face is more persistent! I would like to say phew too.
who sent me this link? I can't remember. "The Bonesmen" freakin' rocks.
Abraham Kalashnikov posted that link on my page. That scary "Bonesmen" one is good.
Thanks Tom and Abraham. Did you watch "New World Soldiers" further down the list? It's a really awkward animation about torture in Iraq. Not glib exactly, but certainly gauche. Also kind of raw in a good way - like a guy trying hard to work it all through for himself. The mouse controlled monster soldier avatar is pretty unique.
