Paul Butler's exhibition, Getting There is Half the Fun Wynick/Tuck Gallery, January 14 to February 1, 2006

Howdy!
Interesting that you post (and I assume like, appreciate and support) a picture from Paul Butler, and then three weeks later write this "I stopped reading Adbusters for no particular reason other than apathy towards design-as-tool-for-political-transformation -through-emotional-button-pushing-and-stylish-formatting-of-painful -personal-email-entries"
I find that the picture from Mr. Butler, and Adbusters share an awful lot in common.
Ah consistency...feh. That said, I guess I didn't make it clear that this is a link to a guest review, posted here on the artwriting notes page (the context should be more clear if you follow the link). (Also, while I think of it, again, read RM Vaughan's 7 Steps To a Better Artist Statement. Just because it is good.) All that said, Zeke, do you agree with me re: Adbusters? And if yes, do you really think Paul Butler has a similar political agenda? I'd guess that PB is pretty comfortable with making eye candy.
