ok, the trip to the zoo was definitely worth that look.
I looked back to see if you looked back to see if I looked back to see if you looked back to see if I looked back to see if you were looking at me!
Yup, this one is definitely looking at me. Excellent timing. (WAIT FOR IT!)
Umm ... nice kitty.
Oh, I _love_ them meerkats! When I go to the Toronto Zoo I spend all my time with them. Thanks!
I know someone who was peed on by a tiger (at a zoo) It happened over 30 years ago, but he's still so traumatised and humiliated that no one is allowed to mention it in his presence. (so that's all we talk about when he's not around)
Did it cure his warts?
do dogs still follow him around?
I would ask him, but ...you know, his face gets all stony-like and he glares into the distance with a clenched jaw.
Perhaps I could send him an anonymous letter outlining everyone's questions. (that's the kind of friend I am!)
sounds like a rite of passage every young man should go through
my sister once got to dissect a tiger that had died in the Calgary Zoo. Apparently it smelled like cat pee vary strongly
Vets have all sorts of critter stories. Although D is a small animal vet, she went through many large animal courses. The practical classes for cattle, horses, pigs, etc. took place in barns. In class on artificial insemination of cattle, something went horribly wrong during a semen collection exercise. Tiger pee may be traumatizing, but one of the students in this class was traumatized by a bull right across his face and torso from clean across the barn.
Hey, that stuff is valuable, don't go spraying it all over the barn.
"something went horribly wrong during a semen collection exercise"
Yikes, but I suspect that from the POV of the bull, everything went right.
win, win for the bull.
