So the evening report - Sally is still white water rafting:
But, bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! it's cold:
Hopefully, they have hot chocolate:
Meanwhile, I am comfy and smug in my home:
And it's all very dangerous:
...because it's reported that the RCMP, Toronto Police Department & CSIS have finally made nice with each other and, on top of that, have arrested 17 men on terrorist charges.
i think those SWAT images would make lovely greeting cards
I was thinking of using the SWAT picture as a Valentine's day card for R.M. Vaughan. He prefers greeting cards with pictures of Harry Potter, but that would probably just get him arrested.
i read that some of the terrorists's gardens were landscaped - but.....unkempt....
"The family lives in a solidly middle-class area in the heart of a Mississauga suburb. The two-garage home has a landscaped but overgrown garden." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed, it's that sort of detailed terrorist gardening information that leaves me in such a state of confusion and fright.
Ammonium nitrate is *fertilizer*...what else are you going to do with the failed "experiments"?
As I took the subway to go work on my Mods and Rockers piece, I looked at The Sun, and realized I was carrying *exactly* the same toolcase that the terrorists used. And mine was full of wires and stuff, too. On the way back, I bought a gel cell battery, and a big red button, completely without irony. I needed them.
A measured and intelligent piece of speculation by Thomas Walkom, on the outcome of these arrests can be read
here.
ya, i have most of that gear they're talking about in my mudroom - but i hid it earlier today just in case csis is reading this blog
CSIS buys me a lot of really nice shit whenever I get you people talking about gel cell batteries and big red buttons.
Look like you have fun with Sally. Who is Sally? And LM? I know some anonymous, at the end it really look like an antique show by here.In the main time we have 17 guys in custody. I cannot stop thinking about Guantanamo, one of my painting, We don't know anything about their background and already Canadian are ready with a rope. I don't know, something look wrong for me.

Well...
It's not a right opinion, you know...
See ya!
The terrorist policy, practised in these posts, is healthy pictorial scepticism towards all forms of scarlet button paranoia.
I am Sally. I've been on holiday. I am grateful to L.M. for finding a way to address this terror bullshit. I find myself stuck and tongue-tied somewhere between ernest desperation and denial. At least we don't have a color coded alert system here yet.
Not total bullshit now, Sally, they've arrested Rob. (I think that anonymous was busted too, saw he/she being led away in shackles, but maybe not, one can never be sure, maybe, but not sure ...perhaps)
The whole thing looked a lot like this, so it's mostly speculative at this point, and some things are, as of yet, unexplained .
augh!
Ever since the election, we don't use our color coded terror highlighting system, so Canada is free to take it.
...until October or so.
