Happy Birthday Cute Little Canada!
This is the day when all the smart gardeners blow-torch those flower buds open (short growing season),
so that Joint Task Force 2 (Canada's top-secret anti-terrorist commando unit) can pollinate the garden.
As for the soccer fans, sad day Brazilian Canadian neighbours - you threw the best parties, shut up already Portuguese Canadian neighbours, you've been at it for hours, and I see you driving up from Dundas St. to College St. just to gloat.
The rest of the evening belongs to my Pyromaniac Canadian neighbours.
Yes, shut up everyone. I'd like to take ALL those flags and ram them up the collective...ARGHH. it's like some modern version of St. Vitus dance.
What? You missed Andre Agassi's swan song at Wimbledon? Slo-mo tears on his sweet sweet face.
Oh stop that h8eration, h8 ball!
I was won over by a bunch of little Portuguese girls tormenting the traffic cops by blowing whistles counter time to the police whistles at the intersection of Dundas & Dufferin, all to the tune of Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie".
M. Jean, I'm so embarrassed, if I had a bit more discipline I could have fit in a Wimbledon match on today's viewing schedule.
i watched roddick loose today and actually felt sorry for him. he seemed to be flailing on the court, especially in the third and last set. it's hard to be a fan of roddick because it seems that he relies solely on power to win. maybe with this very public undoing of his game, he'll come back with a new game strategy, one that includes chasing down balls and finesse. i have always thought there is an anology between roddick's game and the current US administration but maybe that is going too far. nanmac
