AAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

Can I pet it? Will it bite?

This little tree-pig's fifteen minutes are almost up, so I must speak out, sentimental though it might be. I just _love_ her/him! I want to cuddle it, and feel all those windy trees in my arms.
Bye-bye, piggy!

I thought it was a tree-buffalo. But still cuddly. Will it bite?

Is it possible (o, gif adepts) to make the whole thing locomote? I'd love to see it gambol.

hidden perks for dial-up: I get to see the little logo name before it slowly actualizes. And what is this one called? Tree-pig.

the one cool thing that MS exploder does that Firefox doesn't do: when you hover over an image, the alt text show up in a pop up.

and yes, gamboling is an option

Hey! Speaking of trees.

This tree fell onto my back neighbour's house around 10:00 pm last night.

Hydro did manage to show up at 3:30 am to run their chainsaws. Power to our streets came back on at 4 am. I know this because my air conditioner, two computers, the television and all the lights came on at that point. (you know how the power goes off and you turn on the lights anyway because its your habit when walking into a pitch black room, but it doesn't occur to you to turn the switch back off, because after all the lights are off)

They still haven't picked up the tree pieces, some very nice hunks of maple sitting in the road.

Several tons of maple are still sitting in the street several days after the mysterious night of the falling trees. (one mighty wind took down trees all over town) The city is waiting for forensic tree people to see if we are infested with Asian longhorned beetles. (the same little bastards that ate Chicago's hardwood trees several years ago)
