God Bless America and Rick Mercer (and YouTube) because "Talking to Americans" is finally on-line for our viewing and reviewing pleasure.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, and Part 5.
b/t/w I got the links via a morning (as if I'm up in the morning) email message, then Wonkette and then the wonderful boingboing who, as you know, directs to more wonderful things.
Another good video link is an interview with Mercer where he talks about the worn leopard print carpet at 24 Sussex that Mila Mulroney installed and subsequent occupants have refused to replace.
Thanks L.M. 45 minutes later.....
Most people will give an asinine opinion if a camera is stuck in their face, it's the bigger disease. There is a section missing from this special and it was the first one where Mercer goes to Washington. It was the best of the lot, and I'm wondering why it isn't available anywhere.
This video was circulating and making news a while back, it was a BBC report on music downloading where the producers mistook a taxi driver for the expert they were supposed to interview. The first 30 seconds are pretty damn adorable, when it dawns on the taxi driver that it's a case of mistaken identity. (but I thought the taxi driver did an OK job)
