Andrew Harwood - (pictured above) will be convening another 70's musical evening at Molotov Cocktail, this Sunday, at 928 Dundas St W for FREE! (show up after 9, he says after 8, but he lies all the time)
Due to stringent CRTC rules for Canadian content, that I so kindly pointed out to him, Andrew has now agreed to play a Gino Vanelli tune every hour.
A while back, at the church where I work, I overheard someone rehearsing on a piano next to my office. I was blown away by the
beautiful singing and expert piano playing. Sounded like Italian
bel canto. I got up and opened my door to have a closer listen.
A few seconds later the door opened beside my office and
yeah, you guessed it, Gino emerged from the room next to mine.
Hairy and spotting dark shades. He didn't smile and proceeded
to walk down the hall ... never to return.

"Living Inside Myself" is the most overproduced song in the history of western music. Sometimes people show up at my house, and I can kind of tell that they really need a Gino Vanelli moment, like real bad, you know I'm sensitive to things like that, so, well, that's the song I play for them. (and fucking full blast, while laughing maniacally, because I truly love him in a sick way)
