In an earlier post (experiment?) you had a group of these bands together in a single post. It looked good. What made you decide to do one band per post?
I didn't know how to do that marquee thing, so now I expect to be emulating you soon. Haven't thought about what to do with it yet.
When I posted them all together I had a weird bug where a line break was inserted in one of the marquees, the break tag never showed up in the source, but the line break did appear (and it would appear in between letters sometimes, it made me crazy to go through the post window to find it whenever I was making a change). So the problem was solved by moving them all to their own post. I'm using that preformatting tag to keep the 5 spaces between each name, so the problem may have been from that. I also had a bug closing the same tag, (it doubled the vertical scale of the background) so I left it open.
I am the last person in the universe to learn some HTML, after I posted these, a friend sent me this link with further tips on the marquee tag. (it reminds me of 13 years ago when I was working in a studio where the whole tech department was learning Director Lingo, we constantly skipped the basics and looked for the most fancy-assed routines to keep each other amused)
I had to take down my table piece. Here's what I posted: I had a table (html) art piece here that I took down. It worked fine in Firefox and IE but once again Apple's Safari hates my art. A friend with that browser said that the table was too wide, forcing him to side to side scroll to read my page. That should never happen (I design this for an 800 x 600 screen), and if it does, please tell me. While I'm crying about a**hole Safari, please take a look at this blog from the jodi.org blogroll.
I love that first blog link that you just provided. (...but I guess it's not on purpose)
