no rising trout?
The osprey must have been eating something, but we didn't see a whole lot of fish. We were there more for the tramping around and ogling than for sport.
Trampling and ogling is my favourite sport. I missed the osprey swoop until now.
I think I need to tinker with the timing.
For me, the timing was perfect. I stared at the water and the trees for quite a while, waiting for something to move, and I'd just decided nothing was going to happen, when WHAP! The bird. Scared the hell out of me.
I wouldn't touch the timing either, I should have clued in, because I did first note that the image quality was closer to your GIF work than your posted photo images. (I just scrolled down or blinked or something and missed it)
