Hmm, that bottom one should be in the permanent collection of the Walker Art Center.
Actually it reminds me of the "springboard" instrument thatEric Leonardson made:

I'd love to see a detail of the propeller piece.
Here are a couple of details. I have not seen these sculptures in 'the flesh.' Kristin uses a really vast range of media including performance and something else that I don't know what it's called, that's like a set of viral, performative, relational, open-ended uber-meta-manifestations. Her recent and ongoing participation with the collective eteam on the International Airport Montello is a good example. (image below is lifted from her part of the website)
Hah Rob you are funny. Walker indeed. and yes those works do seem to have quite a bit in common (at least from the photographs). Kristin's walker looks more locomotion oriented, though - and it has a coffee mug.
Hey, thanks for the detail of those trees. From the larger shot I thought maybe they were a little giacometi-ish crowd.
