Monophonic 2007 wood, fluorescent lights, speaker box
New work by Nestor Krüger on now until March 10, 2007 at Goodwater Gallery
234 Queen Street East (Queen & Sherbourne)
It smells of fresh cut wood in there.
I like Nestor Kruger, but can someone tell me why Goodwater is so deeply allergic to showing female artists?
With the exception of Nestor, Goodwater is rarely even on my radar. But yes, it's a good question to ask Clint Roenisch as well.
It is bewildering because so many people I know can come up with long lists of artists they admire and the gender counts are pretty balanced.
In other words, I'd have to make a fucking effort to exclude females.
I love the shims.
I like the shims too.
To enter the gallery you have to push the speaker box in. (I just walked down the monophonic tunnel thinking: that bastard didn't put a door here...ON PURPOSE!)
