Thicket 2: Stranded by Sally McKay and Von Bark at Fly Gallery until the end of May (1172 Queen Street West, Toronto)
best viewed after dark
Having just witnessed the full Springtime Saturday Night Nightmare outside of Fly, I totally get it.
Thanks L.M. For those who don't know, this post ties in somewhat with the earlier thread about the Gladstone Hotel.
i thot that was the gladstone...eerie!
The one on the right is the Drake. Of course this being a Thicket story there is also a crashed rabbit space ship...
and a wounded kitty cat captain...
How can this be so sweet and sad and eerie and so so bleak all at the same time? I've gotta see it in real. That's some kick-ass vision, those Thickets.
Oh, that looks so cool....
Rob...it is not even remotely scratching the surface of cool compared to yours.
woa, nice shots! It has an underwater quality. The oreo cookie that Von Bark added to the piece has attracted a colony of ants, they seem to be enjoying their new found planet. I can't tell if they prefer the gladstone or the drake.
Uh-oh. Sorry about that.
