Tastes like chicken!

BTW, L.M., my show opens this Saturday, with the piece you requested for this blog, last year.

Oops that is intense. I ams o glad I didn't have chicken for dinner tonight.

Hey have a ...break a leg!!! I mean!!!

Morse that work is still one of my favourite video pieces, I'm glad to hear that it is being shown again. (or was it ever shown in NYC?)

Candy, I was thinking of your food and agricultural writing when I was animating the chickens and the bunnies. (though the artist in me likes the fact that they were all available to me in little cages in a centralised area of the city in order to be exploited, I think it would be last on the list of things animals hate, with #1 "being slaughtered". I think the neurotic designer fowl and the roosters get long lives but you just know that turkey is screwed.)

In one of my many pipe dreams I will own a piece of land somewhere outside of the city and have "fancy" chickens (the ones with the fabulous plumage) wandering around.

Great gif - I can hear the cacophony.

We spent something like 45 minutes looking for the chickens, only to give up, and be told that there were no chickens this year, du to bird flu. Seriously, they said that. I want at least some of my money back.

C.R., don't wait for that fantasy farm land, the Phyllis Diller chicken at the top of the set would look great in your apartment.

The poultry section was hard to miss, but it was in the newer buildings to the east of the original colliseum. I noticed that they don't have many pigs in the livestock section anymore. made me wonder if there were no longer any independent pig farmers.

L.M., considering my other pipe dream was to have a duck living in my bathtub, I like your idea.
- C.R. (guest) 11-14-2007 8:34 pm

Then you want the duck from the second GIF. He teh sexy.
- L.M. 11-14-2007 8:43 pm

On second thought I think he's a goose. But still teh sexy for you. Just noisier.
- L.M. 11-14-2007 8:56 pm

Though sexy, I don't think I could go for the goose, they bite and have a long reach.

I am going to order the "fancy duck package":

I also enjoyed the customer product reviews.

Wow- I just have to click "add to cart" and my yard fills up with with turkeys and peacocks. The internet is wonderful. I will need room for bees, too. You can buy bees on the internet. I need a bigger yard.
