Is that a regulation FIFA Ball? - sally mckay 8-14-2008 7:14 am
There's more to this minx than pure bendiness:
Back in April, a Russian tabloid reported
that Putin had divorced his wife and was going to marry Alina Kabaeva, the 2004 gold medal rhythmic gymnast, and a pro-Kremlin party member in the lower house of Russia's parliament.
Putin denied it and the tabloid, Moskovsky Korrespondent shut down shortly afterwards due to 'poor sales' (because no one buys tabloids). - L.M. 8-14-2008 7:55 am
When I was a kid, our phys-ed teacher was a defector from Hungary who had once competed in the Olympics for the USSR. (He escaped by hiding in a secret compartment underneath a car)
The only thing he taught was Soviet floor exercises that he had choreographed to his favourite song, Sounds of Silence. - L.M. 8-14-2008 8:09 am
I love the Olympics.
If Canada doesn't get any medals do you think that Harper might give us some art money back? - L.M. 8-14-2008 8:11 am

i wish i were the camera operator. everytime she tosses the ball, i'd track it with the camera and maybe inducing a mild vertigo rush for the viewer? - nanmac (guest) 8-14-2008 7:15 pm

us not getting any medals is pretty much proof that not spending money on culture means little or no results, makes us a laughing stalk---http://www.cbc.ca/arts/music/story/2008/08/12/tory-cuts.html
