A-hole man is the gift that keeps on giving.
Have I mentioned that Joe McKay and I are now officially educators.
augh! That glittery bum gif is the most audacious thing I've ever seen.
We are currently searching for some nice "CENSORED" stickers with which to paste over some recent images.

Yeah, joester is out of control.
Recieved from joe, today:
From i80 somewhere in Iowa. A father of a friend has pointed out a cold war era reading of this image.
"We will bury you!" (Khrushchev), SWP=Socialist Workers Party"
A similar image with that logo was posted on one of the DMT sites a while back (sorry can't find it to link to) and almost everyone's reading of it was enviromental, so the cold war references are an eye opener. I never would have caught that in this period.
Hey look, another A-hole man!
Isn't the glittery bum the property of the audacious Mr. Harwood?
(the bum, not the glitter)
DON'T GIVE HARWOOD ANY IDEAS!
Oh look! More A-hole man.
I thought that tinfoil/fork/penny butt A-hole man was the height of brilliance, but particle collider A-hole man is pretty brilliant too.
It brings me to an interesting issue, Tom Moody has alluded to it as well in the comments on his IMG MGMT: Psychotronic GIFs essay in artfagcity.
"When Journalpics.net first appeared it just scraped images off LiveJournal users’ pages which felt like looking in rear windows even though the pages were public. The scraper went to hell (literally) when it started relying so heavily on 4Chan and other sites featuring “faces of death” and porn loops. To find good GIFs there now you have to have a kind of nictitating membrane that shields your psyche from acts of disgusting sadism before they “register.”
It’s true it’s all part of “life” but filtering unwanted data is also part of life."
I don't have the original image of A-hole man, it wasn't the type of picture I'd save to my harddrive, but after trolling through those boards experiencing the same thing Tom talks about, my little heart sings at the sight of so much clever mockery.
The problem is, the actual image is pretty tame in the grand scheme of things, this isn't a psychic solution. There's too much out there that can't be neutralized by mockery or satire because it's just too ugly and cruel.
Looking in rear windows indeed.
Ha! (I missed that one)
