Tanya Read: 10 Years of Being Nobody
Tanya Read, Walking in the Rain (film still), 2008
There is an excellent Mr. Nobody archive on display at Katharine Mulherin Contemporary Art Project. See it before the closing on October 18. Tanya Read has some great images of the show up here.
i really liked the 3d effect of the video, and the give away posters, i miss tanya
mr. nobody in front of the red velvet rope is my favourite. I loved the video of him in the lineup at the Drake Hotel never allowed in, but patiently waiting for an eternity.

Thank you for the kind words, Zack.
I've been a mr. nobody fan for a long time; what I liked was seeing many of the bits and pieces all in one place. (At the beginning he had funny ears; so did Pogo. ) Particularly weird (to see it collected) because part of the fun is his peek-a-boo hard to pin down-ness. Does this retrospective mean anything significant about his future?
Hey M. Jean,
thanks to you and everyone for the kind words about nobody. who knows what the future holds for the little guy, but i'm not ready to kill him off yet!
