Bonus track: Eydie Gorme singing Blame It On The Bossa Nova from 1963.

I love that too. I heard it a couple of years ago and i believe they did an entire album's worth of contemporary covers such as this. Why does no one know who I'm talking about when I say 'Steve and Edie'!

They're a Vegas act now.
I'd love to hear that whole album, George just put this song on a CD for me a few years ago, and this is the only youTube version I could find for it. - L.M. 11-17-2008 1:16 am
the steve and eydie black hole sun was on the lounge-a-palooza compilation. it rocks. - bill 11-17-2008 1:34 am
I saw Steve and Eydie open for Sinatra at Maple Leaf Gardens on his last world tour in the early 1990's. They presented an impressive and rather technically complex set. Frank was kinda senile, but his voice was still deep and rich. It was a swell show.
(Useless Trivia: Stanley Kubrick played drums in the Brooklyn High School Dance Band that Eydie sang lead vocals for.)

Trivia is never useless Sally. Thanks for all the info I love.

the medley duet is what S and E do. theyve been mangling the hits for ever. they really are a "crack attack" opening or lounge (per vb) act with a borscht belt component to boot. and it was my parents music. - bill 11-17-2008 4:01 pm
That's a great link. (I love covers, and mangled hits) - L.M. 11-17-2008 4:24 pm
You're more than welcome Thom. Although that info was posted by VB (he uses my log in cause it's simpler) - sally mckay 11-17-2008 5:22 pm
Sunday Devotionals - Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormet singing Soundgarden's Black Hole Sun
