I like Nick Cave quite a lot. His epic take on the Stagger Lee story is fantastic. I enjoy the way he makes contemporary music that is at the same time tied closely to folk traditions. I also really enjoy his sense of the dramatic.

Yeah, he's got that odd punk/gospel influence combination down. That Stagger Lee version is so "coarse language advisory".
I recall many years ago turning on the television late at night and seeing:
