how does one get to owen sound

i was not asking for a ride, i am genuinely curious about the owen sound arrangements. there is a bus, but it is 5 hours, is there a train, is it worth spending a day or two in Owen Sound, what else is there to do in owen sound, are there cheap hotels, or camp grounds, or the like.

I would have been happy to find you a ride if we had left later. There are shorter buses. No trains, (I've taken the bus lots) The town is an old Victorian port town, at the turn of the century it was comparable to Liverpool.
