If They Bottled Sex With The Curator I Would Buy It But Spill It On The Way Home 2009
Acrylic & Foam On Board, 49" X 59" X 7"
i give up. why is this significant or interesting? why is this different then new new painting?
I know what you mean, buddy. Every time I see some pretty twenty year old girl with those gigantic glasses where the arms attach at the bottom instead of the top, I think "Why does she want to look like my Mom back in 1986?".
I can talk to her, find her interesting, see all the things that should amount to attraction, but it never does, because I just don't want to have sex with my Mom.
Usually, she doesn't even know who my Mom is, but sometimes she does.
touche. i grew up in edmonton and peacock is still painting, so its sort of visceral.
It warms my heart that you two bat-shit crazies understand each other.
Oh cool, I grew up in Calgary, where every day is like Freaky Friday in Edmonton.
Peacock seemed pretty bad-ass when I was at ACAD. So I badly wanted to out bad-ass them new-news and now we don't talk so much.
Except at the bad-ass symposiums...and even then it's pretty awkward around the arm wrestling tables.
PS. Anthony, your blog is good.
will
thank you. im blushing.
ase
Next time I have an opening, you should come and I will bring you a free beer and pretend I bought it for you.
