On the weekend M.Jean and I went to visit her friend, the poet Colleen Thibaudeau. We got to attend this animistic alternate summit on her front porch. Snowman, Foxy and Poly had to forgo Summer Vacation Bible Camp this year. Instead, Colleen made them study a page from the paper with pictures of all the G20 leaders. Then she sent them to confer on the porch with a little globe. Colleen explained, "I told them if any of those critters [the world leaders] came onto the porch they should bite them."
Sad news that Colleen Thibaudeau passed away this week. I knew her since I was a little kid and I liked her a lot. She was kooky, in a good way — really independent, funny and smart. - sally mckay 2-09-2012 3:51 pm
