i get 6 w/ some middle bits left over.
5 with middle square missing.
mmmm....middle square.
Yeah, my money's on 5. One whole, two sets of halves, one set of quarters, and one more for the smallest edges. With the square from that left over. And where is that square now? Left to wander life alone.
