I'm pushing for Neil Diamond.

Um, I actually don't really like Randy Newman, even though he's a good lyricist, but his music usually annoys me. (But he did work on Peggy Lee's 'Is That All There Is?', which is something.) I would do post on RN if I got a note along the lines of "Yur my faave Dee-Jay, can I make a special request from a far-out fan?".
also note: Billy Joel does not play piano nor appear on 'Fantasies and Delusions', which I find strangely compelling.
