The top quote is from a margin advert in CREEM magazine. I had no clue what this was all about, until many years later, when I met someone at a party who had a bunch of his albums. He played some of the AS prison music, which was pretty gritty. I was expecting experimental punk, but instead I got rough-edged blues/rock with some beatnik poetry, which is also fine. - VB 5-22-2013 1:28 am
