Weird (and good) song. I only started really getting to the Everly Brothers after listening to the Dils, an early west coast punk band who sometimes employed the same kind of close harmonies.They later formed the cowpunk band Rank and File.
Also, the creative force behind The Dils and R&F(Chip and Tony Kinman) were also brothers!
We were listening to the self-named song "Rank and File" just the other day. Swell drivin' music, with some very clever key changes..
