Ate at Washington Park last night. Beautiful room. Very good service. Extensive wine list. One app sparkled (pasta with crab and heirloom tomatoes) but the rest of the food, while good, didn't excite any of us. Desserts, on the other hand, were yummy. Nice night, but I'd need to hear something different to try again.

Yeah, we drank some great wines. As usual I can't remember them. Started with a knoll gruner veltliner (2000? Loibner?) then drank a frulliani collio (sp?) and then a red from the langudoc. They sent us that bugey pink sparkling thing (dressner) for dessert. Thanks to you I could feel knowledgable: "sure I know that". Huge huge list, as you know.
From now on this memory issue won't be a problem.
