I got a recommendation to eat at Bayona in NOLA.
Any other recommendations? (I will be travelling with D, a lacto-ovo-vegetarian who refuses to believe that the lower mollusks are hard to distinguish from plants.)
We loved Herbsaint (same owner as bayona i believe)......was very meatty (ribs rocked!!) we had a great veggie pasta (in 2003).....(skinny)
Herbsaint is still good and you should probably eat at Cochon, at 930 Tchopitoulas.
Got reservations at Herbsaint and Bayona. I'll take a look at Conchon. M has a friend that put together a documentary that's debuting this week. We'll see that Tuesday or Wednesday.
Will try to fit in Conchon. The menu looks outstanding to me, but isn't so exciting to D.
Headed to Fellini's on Carrollton for lunch today.
Tomorrow we start working, which cuts down on the breakfast/lunch possibilities.
