i'm looking for a great dim sum spot to take mom and sisters. anyone have a favorite?
I always like Triple Eight Palace just because it's so huge and in the middle of a mall and just generally extremely bizarre. Food has always been decent, but probably there is something better somewhere. Especially good on weekends when it is very busy but you never have to wait.
(Triple Eight is on the second floor of the mall / galleria that is under the Manhattan bridge - on the west side of e. b'way.)
Oriental Garden 14 Elizabeth (eat a lot of chive dumplings AWESOME)......or next too it the Pork Pies etc at Jing Fong, this is some foodies #1, and its gigantic like Jim's pick, and it fills up

13 Doyers Street in Chinatown.
I like the name Tea Parlor.....gotta check that one out....
