more for the incredible shrinking bag files. the pint of pesto salad i bought from fresh direct felt smaller than usual in my manly mitts last time i bought it. thats cuz a pint now is officially 13 oz! that extra handful of shells must be killing their bottom line. and then just now the bag of pita chips i bought seemed a wee bit petite. shrunk from a size 8 to a size 7.3. i must assume they are just looking out for my figure.
Its infuriating. Peanut butter downsized as well.
At least you don't live on the upper west side.
yeah, might not be so bad if they got more sophisticated about their targeting than zones. im sure they could build a profile based on your purchasing. but mostly it seems pretty scurrilous. that they frame it as "being competitive in certain markets" doesnt give me a warm feeling about their motivations.
But we can keep printing money forever because there's no inflation! Everything* costs the same as before.
*sizes may vary.
get your macroeconomics out of my microeconomics! they have nothing to do with each other. i passed intro to economics so im kind of an expert.
