Very cool origami measuring spoon kickstarter.
over half a million $ pledged on a $10k goal with 24 days left of the camaign
I went for it, very well presented. Don't necessarily buy that spoon sets are inconvenient or difficult to wash but that is one nice looking object.
You saying I'm late to the party Steve?
I'm making pancakes every morning for Lucas these days and the batter requires a tablespoon of honey. Honey does not come out of the regular tablespoon very well. You can scrape it out with your finger, but then it's on your finger. This thing would work well for that kind of sticky ingredient.
Very true. See they are working on a way to keep its position without pressure of fingers.
Love it, Ryley loved it too....
Yeah, I like it. I'm just saying that their campaign probably outdid their expectations and that they probably have a hit on their hands.
i think they knew 10,000 was low, and had real goal's in the 100,000's.....
MB and I are still waiting for them......did you remember MB?......I keep forgetting and remembering....
I am posting this update from China as we speak… this is the trip where we get the shipping started.
The mass manufacturing molds have all been made, the various vendors are all coordinated, the quality checking personnel are in place, the logistics have been set… we are wrapping up a few finishing touches and leaks in the plastic tool before we kick off the final production run, prior to which we will be able to provide the exact shipping dates (and will accommodate any and every address/color option change that you might have). But we earnestly request you to please not count on them being holiday presents... we realistically won't be able to complete all the shipments by the holidays.
