For those who were holding off until next week to bid farewell to Bedford Ave. trailblazer Bonita, tough luck. Kings of Williamsburg and owners of the Diner/Marlow & Sons/Bonita/Marlow & Daughters Empire Andrew Tarlow and Mark Firth have closed up shop two weeks earlier than expected. As usual, employees at the sister restaurants are tight-lipped about why the sudden shutter, chalking it up to "a variety of reasons that I can't elaborate on now." Expect a new banh mi shop or fro-yo place to open in the space by summer's end.
((this i know is due to rent increase))
